Virtual Stage - Alcazar

September 25th, 2008
L'Alcazar is a parisian restaurant located in the Saint Germain des Prés area.

We developed several interactive animations running on a sensitive floor which was designed to detect movement. The installation was set at the restaurant entrance, allowing people to walk through and generate responsive graphics such as water ripples above reactive fishes or create some flower path that lead them to the main restaurant room.

Our tool VisionFactory was used for the development of the installation. It allows to drive a set of two video-projectors whose images can overlap thanks to the soft edge technique. The reactive and realistic rendering were achieved thanks to the use of advanced animation concepts.
Parameters were set through an easy-to-configure interface, powered by our own library RQControls.

The installation named Virtual Stage was a joint venture between Blue Yeti and Mobidium.

M.O. Creatives Website

September 25th, 2008
M.O. is a creative & brand consultancy founded in 2006 and established in London.

We collaborated together with M.O. to build their new website from a minimal and clean layout. The website is fully ajax-based and plugged to our content management system RQSite, allowing a smooth and elegant presentation of the content.
Using Javascript exclusively for the animation was technically challenging, but proved to be a great alternative to Flash eventually.

Processing workshop in Limerick, Ireland.

September 22nd, 2008
During one week several international artists were invited to take part into the first edition of the Tweak festival, held in the art school of Limerick. The main theme of the festival was "hacking".

In collaboration with Bordeaux-based Splank studio, we created a special Processing program that allowed each participant to take part in a global composition of visuals and sounds. Each one had the ability to personalize their contribution by tweaking and hacking the program's code.

Ludothèque Interlude

September 1st, 2008
The Interlude Association is the manager of Bordeaux city's game libraries, and is responsible for projects related to social development around game activities, for every age.
In terms of art direction and ergonomics, we had to solve a complex equation involving a necessary playfulness, a fresh, nature oriented ambiance ( due to the proximity of the botanical garden), the visual representation of both buildings, the diversity of target audience ( institutions and private individuals) while presenting a dense and regularly changing content.
The website was brought to life using DHTML and CSS only.

Com3pom's network

August 31th, 2008
Com3pom has grown since their establishment in 2003 and is now present in the Val de Loire area.

The website was completely updated with some brand new fresh graphics and new functionalities, most notably allowing the management of new selling point areas. Our efforts were put in a better intuitive user interface as well as more effective management tools in the back office. The whole website is run thanks to RQSite engine.

Recruitment website for Chamber of Commerce

July 10th, 2008
We have been commissioned by the Chamber of Commerce to create this tool aimed in connecting enterprises and young people for their apprenticeship contracts.
The website was designed with simplicity of use in mind, while respecting the visual codes of an institutional client.

Tonite

June 16th, 2008
Tonite is a tees company created by Fergus Purcell.

The website is very minimal in order to keep a punk fanzine style as wanted by Fergus.
The graphics were designed by Hudson-Powell whereas the website itself relies on RQSite engine allowing complete customization of blog articles (layout, colors, fonts, ...)

Graphic design of PixelValley

June 2nd, 2008
Thanks to their numerous camera tests, relayed news and reactive forums, PixelValley has grown to one of the most visited websites in France that deal with digital photography.
However, they suffered from a rather archaic visuals that we were asked to revamp.
We created their new logo, studied new ergonomics, proposed a set of graphic layouts and illustrations, and eventually produced the HTML templates, CSS style sheets, and Javascript programs to dress up anew each part of the content.

Party in our new studio

May 17th, 2008
Two months after our installation in our new studio, we organized a party there to celebrate this new fresh start. Our creativity pushed us to create an original stop-motion video to invite people. This can be seen on a special dedicated mini-website.
The party itself was the occasion to install our RoqsTree application, as well as an innovative sms-based interactive application. Those who were not able to make it to the party could follow the evening events through a webcam installed in the studio.
